How is Dreamore different?
We’ve built 1000s of startups & growth companies over the last 30 years, and founded/funded a few ourselves. We have perspectives on hiring, startup culture, and business much deeper than your average recruiter. We are innovative with tools & systems but emphasize a human-centric approach, something that should NEVER be forgotten in the era of AI.
Many of our clients come to us after seeing mixed results with staffing agencies or other less targeted solutions. Our model is similar to a high end retained firm but better value & speed (usually cheaper too).

What kind of jobs do you fill?
We’ve placed every function in startups, and are particularly skilled with nuanced or “difficult” searches that benefit from our style of targeted search.
We don’t place contractors, admin, or off-shore. We DO place any professional level through C-suite. We also advise when a search isn’t completing because of market dynamics, budget, or other challenges to make sure you solve your hiring needs in a timely and reasonable fashion.

What is your process?
First we want to REALLY understand your need, not just the job description but what you’re really trying to solve with people. That way we can refine based on the “real world”, sometimes saving you money and definitely saving you time.
We leverage deep trusted relationships with people who won’t return texts or emails from “just anyone” AND we thoroughly research and source from high caliber companies and competitors, so you are presented with the best options available to hire.

What is your fee structure?
Our fees are industry standard for the kind of work we do: 20-25% of first year’s guaranteed cash compensation depending on volume and level, plus a small deposit to start the search and/or an exclusivity period. For certain needs, we can charge hourly or flat rate.

Is there a guarantee?
We offer a 90-180 replacement guarantee depending on the level and volume of need. What matters most is our partnership approach with clients, and proper planning/communication. In 30 years we’ve needed to fill 3 replacements - once per decade is an impressive track record.

Hiring is expensive no matter how you do it, but the cost of making the wrong hire, and all the time spent interviewing - that’s even more costly. So that’s why you use an outside firm - bringing expertise and relationships beyond what you already have, saving time, and improving your odds for success.
